We need your help to improve our wellbeing. We are going for an award.
Our school is taking part in the Wellbeing Award for Schools, a nationally recognised programme developed with the National Children’s Bureau (NCB). Its aim is to help schools create a strong culture of emotional wellbeing and positive mental health for pupils, staff and families.
What the Award Involves
The award focuses on developing a whole‑school approach where:
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health are part of everyday school life
- Pupils, parents and staff all have a voice in shaping wellbeing activities and support
- Staff receive training to help them respond effectively to pupils’ emotional needs
- The school commits to clear strategies and systems that support long‑term wellbeing for everyone
Why Your Feedback Matters
As part of the process, schools must gather views from parents, carers, pupils and staff.
Your responses will help us:
- Understand what is working well
- Identify areas where we can improve
- Ensure we meet the wellbeing needs of all children and families
This feedback contributes to our self‑evaluation and helps demonstrate the impact of our wellbeing work.
What Schools Typically See from the Award
